Program that enables printing from legacy applications, including DOS, to modern printers.

Printfil is a shareware document printing app and printer program developed by aSwIt for Windows. It's straightforward, easy-to-use and comprehensive.

Print from DOS-Linux programs to Windows printers, USB, GDI, PDF, e-mail, Fax

Print from DOS-Windows-Unix-Linux to Windows printers: USB, GDI, PDF, e-mail, network, fax, virtual. Capture PRN: and from LPT1: to LPT9:, then redirect the jobs, even to a printer phisically connected to the captured port. It also allows preview printing, include logos and background forms, send the jobs via fax/e-mail, use specialist fonts (barcodes etc.), colorize the text, export in PDF, archive copies, same job to multiple printers and more.

This download is licensed as shareware for the Windows operating system from printer software and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The Printfil 5.33 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the full version of this software.

What version of Windows can Printfil run on?

Printfil can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
